Thought provoked by boredom:

If Jesus was really the savior, and "humankind" is really saved, why is this world so fucked up? I can't imagine how a right-wing Christian bureaucrat who destroys ecosystems, puts people to death and decreases the quality of life for everyone on the planet can be accepted into the "house of the Lord." It just doesn't make sense.

There's a song that I perform sometimes that really captures this inner-quarrel. It's called Blood in my Pocket.

Here's the deal:
-I'm going to Miami this weekend to visit Adriana.
-She wants to go snorkeling on Sunday.
-There have been a slew of shark attacks in Florida in the past month.
-I'm deathly afraid of fast, hulking sharp-toothed killing machines.
-I made her change her plans to go snorkeling.

So... am I? Am I?
